XXII. Brigadier General John H. Winder will report to General G. T. Beauregard for assignment to the Second District, Department of North Carolina and Southern Virginia, with headquarters at Goldsborough, N. C.

XXIX. The Sixth Battalion Florida Volunteers, Major P. B. Bird commanding, will immediately proceed by railroad to headquarters Army of Northern Virginia, and report to General R. E. Lee, commanding, for assignment to duty.

XXX. Colonel W. B. Wade, Eighth Confederate Regiment, is relieved from further duty at the High Bridge.

XXXIII. The general commanding the Department of South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida will relieve Major George W. Melton, quartermaster, now serving with Brigadier-General Robertson. Major Melton on being relieved will proceed without delay to the headquarters Army of Northern Virginia and report to General R. E. Lee for assignment on the staff of Brigadier General M. C. Butler.
