Series I, Volume XI covers the Peninsular Campaign in Virginia from March 17, 1862 through Sept 2, 1862, including the siege of Yorktown, the Battle of Williamsburg, the Battle of Seven Pines, and the Battle of Fair Oaks. Parts One and Two contain reports with part three consisting of correspondence, orders, and returns.
