Outcome:   German victory
 
Description:   On June 3, 1942 General Manstein began the assault to capture Sevastopol. Last October his German Eleventh Army had invaded the Crimean peninsula and captured all of it except for Sevastopol and Kerch. Soviet forces surrended Sevastopol on July 1, 1942.
