Introduction to James H. Richardson

This is a collection of letters from James H. Richardson, of company D, from Henryville, Clark County, Indiana, to his Brother in Law, and sister, William and Sarah Caldwell. The first 4 letters are from him. The 5th from his Brother, Andrew H. Richardson. And the 6th is from Robert J Briggs, from his Company. I have left the spelling errors and grammar errors in place, and have, in a couple places, either been unable to read parts of the letter, or filled in (in parenthesis) what I thought he was saying.
