Captain Richard H. Bradford (born 1836)

...enlisted March 28, 1861 at Madison. He was killed on the morning of October 9, 1861 at Santa Rosa Island: " ... was shot in the breast and instantly killed, while leading his men ..." His cousin, Edward Bradford, brought the body home and Richard was buried in God's Acre at Pine Hill. Governor John Milton delivered the eulogy.
