Dear Friends of the Cause:
It is not very often that we have an opportunity to participate in a cause that will protect a legacy. The legacy is one that the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and our nation can ill afford to lose. The restoration and preservation of the 111 Pennsylvania monuments at Gettysburg is such a cause.
My request is that you join me and share your talents and your time to donate and/or assist in raising funding to keep our Pennsylvania monuments standing with the respect and honor that they rightly deserve. The generations that follow us must understand what took place there. "One nation under God, with liberty and justice for all."
We can depict the challenge before us as a "love affair". A "love affair" with the entire Gettysburg Battlefield and in particular the 111 Pennsylvania monuments.
The spirits of those that fought there beckon us to help their memory. I intend on doing just that. Please join me.
Checks can be made payable to the "Pennsylvania Gettysburg Monument Project" and sent to my Harrisburg office. All funds collected will be routed to the National Park Service for restoration of the Pennsylvania monuments as we designate.
