Resolved (2), That the Governor be requested to forward a copy of these resolution to the President of the Confederate States, and to the Governor of each State in the Confederacy, and to each of our Respectfully in Congress.

Resolved (3), That the troops in the service of this State shall receive the same pay as the Confederate troops.
