We have been on the move again and nearer the enemy this time. We are about three miles from Harpers Ferry, the place where John Brown fortified himself while trying to free the slaves. We are within a mile of the battle ground on Maryland Heights where Colonel Miles surrendered. We were only two days in Camp at Frederick City when we went back to the depot, took the cars to Sandy Hook and then marched here.
