Nuremburg Trials
The Nuremberg Trials (1945-1946)

After the war ended in Germany, scores of German officers and officials were put on trial for war crimes---known today as The Nuremberg Trials. Among those tried for crimes against humanity were Hermann Goering, Alfred Jodl, Rudolf Hess, Karl Donitz, and Albert Speer. Many were found guilty and were either hanged or sentenced to lengthy prison terms.
