Atlantic Charter
Atlantic Charter

1941
The Atlantic Charter was an Eight-Point plan signed between the United States and Great Britain that stated neither country would aggressively seek additional territory; that they would work to help all nations gain access to economic markets; and to defeat Germany and bring peace to the world. The Atlantic Charter was the foundation for the United Nations.
