Original Title/Caption: “Industrial safety. Accident prevention. A cluttered work bench is hazardous. This worker could be seriously injured by thoughtlessly raising his head a trifle. In addition, the disorder creates a hazard in the aisles.”

 

Description: This black and white photograph shows a man crouching to reach under a cluttered workbench.  Tools and work materials are strewn under, across, and around the work bench. This photograph was taken in June 1942 by Howard Liberman.
