About Donald Hempson:

Donald A. Hempson, III teaches courses on international diplomacy, global peacekeeping and conflict resolution, terrorism, and Eastern Europe for the International Studies Program at The Ohio State University. An experienced engineer, author, and scholar of trans-Atlantic and East European affairs, he holds degrees from Georgia Tech, DePaul University, and The Ohio State University and emphasizes a multi-disciplinary approach in his research, consulting, and teaching. Don's research and writings focus on the influence of business-state relations on foreign investment in critical East European industries, identity politics, and the political-economic ramifications of U.S. foreign policy on the formulation and implementation of effective business strategies in transitioning European markets.
