About Glenn Kranking:

Glenn Kranking is a doctoral candidate in history at Ohio State University, researching the Swedish minority population of Estonia. His fields of study include Russian, Scandinavian, and European history. Glenn holds a BA from Gustavus Adolphus College in history and Scandinavian Studies, an MA from the University of Washington in Scandinavian Area Studies, and an MA from the University of Tartu (Estonia) in contemporary history. He has presented his research at conferences around the United States, Estonia, Sweden, and Finland, and published articles in two books. He is currently writing his dissertation, entitled "Island People: Transnational Identification, Minority Politics, and Estonia's Swedish Minority."
